The Heart Faced Dog

On Tuesday Morning our teacher decided that we needed more time getting to know our classmates so she decided to a fun game that will need good listening skills and co-operation. First she asked us to look at the piece of paper with the names on it, the names on the piece of paper were the people who you were buddied up with my buddy was Ahmed.  After that Mrs Graham (our teacher) asked us to deicide which person will be buddy A or buddy B, I choose B. Then Mrs Graham handed buddy A a picture and that person had to describe the picture to buddy B and buddy B would have to draw it using only the instructions that the other person gave to you.

These are the instructions we made:

1. Draw an upside down heart.

2. By the bottom tip of your upside down heart draw an upside down triangle for the nose and color it in.

3.Underneath the triangle draw the letter U, inside the letter draw a line right through the middle that’s not touching the end of it yet.

4. By the top of the heart draw one shape of the Block letter P on each side.

5. Inside the heart a bit below the p’s draw two small circles next to each other for the eyes.

6. Around the  right circle draw a bigger circle and color it in.

Showcase

Reflection

This is my Showcase (handwriting) work.  I am learning to Increase the speed of my writing.

I found this concept easy because for the past week we have also been using this learning intension.

The thing that helped me most to understand was the way we got to copy off the actual writing.

The hardest part was making sure that you wrote down the correct letters.

The reason why I chose this writing is because because it is my fastest time.

Place Value, Compare Numbers

This is my maths work. I am learning to compare numbers. I found this concept a bit confusing at first because I got mixed up with the numbers. The thing that helped me most to understand was the example of the crocodiles. The hardest part was making sure that the numbers are in the right place.

Persuasive Writing

This is my writing work. I am learning to persuade others with reasonable evidence. I found this concept easy, because I have done this genre of work before The thing that helped me most to understand was the way that we got to write a draft in our writing books beforehand. The hardest part was actually making it sound persuasive.

This is my Reading work. I am learning to extend my knowledge of new vocabulary.

I found this concept easy.

The thing that helped me most to understand was the colour coding.

The hardest part was making sure that you have matched the right pairs.

All in all I enjoyed this activity.

For this activity I had to write down every that happens this in video.

I think I did really well because I am not usually up to writing down everything that happens if that      makes sense!😆

I Feel surprised because I didn't know I would be able to finish this in less than 1 block!

The most challenging thing was when the video kind of started to lag so it was really hard to understand what was happening! 

Measurement Scavenger Hunt!

My Reflection 

For this activity we had to predict what the measurement was for something and then measure the actual length.

I found this activity really fun and simple although when we had to measure something that 100 metors. that is when it got harder!

I loved this activity and I hope I can do it again!
