Trip to Te Tuhi

When we went to Te Tuhi, we saw a big sculpture. It was made out of lots of colourful blocks. When we got there, I could smell some coffee. The smell made Samantha hungry! When we went inside the painting area and we started painting, I could hear the brush strokes. I hugged the sculpture. It was so much fun when we all hugged it.

Making connections

Making a connection can be connecting to a story to another story. A connection is when the story reminds you of something that happened to you or someone that you know. Making a connection is easy.

Making a plan for my story

We are learning to make a plan. We can make a plan for any story. Making a plan helps us to remember what happened and to write about it. We need to remember to have a topic and at least 3 ideas about the topic in our plan. It is easy to make a plan.
