I found this activity easy because when you compensate all you do is minus.

I have been learning to use language features to suit the purpose of my writing . I have used a simile to make my writing more interesting. The most challenging thing was to choose the same answer.

My Pepeha Art

A few weeks ago Room 12 got EXTRA homework! Our homework was to make our own pepeha. A pepeha is a picture or a sheet that you have to sign, the things on the sheet would ask you what your culture, name, Mum and Dad's name and stuff like that.
The pepeha that we did for our homework was the sheet of paper. When we brought them back a few people didn't bring them back. I wasn't one of them.
 Mrs Melville ( I'm pretty sure you should know that she is my teacher! ) checked  them and finally got to do the picture art!
The most important thing was the maunga! ( mountain )
The second most important thing was the Ra. ( sun ) Then the awa. ( river ) So on.
I thought I should do a few animals to represent how I like them.

I found this activity tricky because sometimes it would be hard to smudge.
My next step is to try to add more detail. I hope you enjoyed!                          This is  My Picture
