Yoda Speak

 My Reflection
As you know stars wars day was on the 4th of May so our teacher thought we could try to speak how Yoda speaks.
I found this activity hard because I think Yoda speak is a little bit hard to understand.

Comparing Summer and August

My Reflection
A few days ago we were reading a book called wonder it's about a boy who is deformed and well I probably shouldn't spoil it for you.  When we finished reading the first two parts of the book we made these Taguls.
I found this activity easy and because I think I am really good at describing people.
I really enjoyed this activity and I hope I can do it again.

Subject Start Sentences

 My Reflection
We were learning to Use a variety of sentence types in our writing.
I think we should use subject start sentences in our writing because subject start sentences tell our audience who is doing what.
I really enjoyed this activity and I would love to do it again!

My Reflection.
Our Teacher Miss Fisher read us this book called wonder, and then she gave us this worksheet to fill in it was called Wonder - Sequencing of Events. We were learning to find and summarize information by choosing the most important information in a text and find and summarize information by re-telling main events in a text. I think I did really well by finding information by choosing the most important information in a text.

Ko Ahau Poem

My Reflection
We were learning to carefully choose words when writing metaphors and explain why we chose them and to do that we had to write a poem about our selves.
The most challenging thing about this activity was to think of metaphors to describe myself.
I found this activity really fun and I would definitely do again!
Success Criteria:
  • I can write a metaphor for each line of my Iain Sharp inspired poem
  • I can give reasons for why I chose the words I wrote
